The scenario and the three rules

1 min read

This plan assumes a war the U.S. is part of. For most households, the blow arrives as failing services and supplies, not fighting in the streets. The risk rises if you live near military bases, ports, refineries, power plants or major transport hubs: write down which ones are near you.

Three rules that drive everything else

  1. Minute 0 is for doing, not thinking. What decides the outcome was done beforehand: kits, documents and written triggers. Whoever improvises at minute 0 is already late.
  2. The first 2 hours are a race against your whole city for the same things: cash, gas, pharmacy and water. In that order, because that's the order they run out.
  3. The right decision (stay or go) is worth more than any kit. It's made with triggers written and signed by every adult, not with emotion or social media.
