Tape this sheet inside the door of the closet where the kit is kept. Assign each task to a person before the emergency: that way all the adults work at the same time.

• All the people and the pets (on a leash or in a carrier)
• 72-hour bags (one per person) and pet kit
• Prescription medicines and the pets' medicines; glasses; hearing aids
• Waterproof bag with documents (IDs, policies, deed or lease, vaccination and microchip records)
• Phones, chargers, and power bank
• Wallet, cash, house and car keys
• Water for the road
• Sturdy clothes and shoes on; jacket
• Hard drive or flash drive with photos and backups; small irreplaceable items
