Nosebleeds

Sit the person leaning forward (not backward: the blood gets swallowed and causes vomiting).
Pinch the soft part of the nose, just below the bone, continuously for 10–15 minutes without letting go to check.
If it doesn't stop after 20–30 minutes, was caused by a hard blow to the face, or the person takes blood thinners, get medical care.
